Songpreneurs has just returned from a trip to Washington, D.C. where founder Amanda Colleen Williams represented songwriters and small business owners, as a non-attorney copyright expert recognized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In addition to sitting on panels at the USPTO Copyright Seminar 2017 alongside General Counsels for the RIAA, NMPA and DiMA, Amanda was able to visit Tennessee Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R).
“Congressman Blackburn has been a steadfast champion of songwriters and small business people throughout her entire political career,” says Williams.
“We Songpreneurs are honored to provide assistance to her and her bi-partisan Songwriter Caucus members to contribute additional political will to their copyright reform measures.”
Williams will be visiting with Tennessee Representative Jim Cooper (D) later this month.
